A traffic exchange simply put is an exchange of traffic. The basic idea is to view other member's websites or ads, and in exchange, different members will view yours. There are 2 basic types of traffic exchanges.
● The manual surf exchange..... In this type of exchange, you manually click through other members’ websites or ads. Most use some kind of an anti-cheat mechanism to insure that the system is not being cheated. The best quality traffic comes from those that incorporate the anti cheat system.
● The auto-surf exchange..... Is easier to use, but not nearly as effective. It basically runs on auto pilot without any effort on your part, the auto surf system operates by changing the websites being viewed automatically to a preset timer. Many marketers feel that this is a very poor quality of views however I have to say that I’ve gotten many sign ups using auto surfing traffic exchanges, it all depends on the individual auto surf site that you’re using.
Manual and auto surf exchanges will usually offer new members free "credits" or hits to your site just for signing up. Beware of the systems that offer too great a sign up bonus because there’s no way that they can deliver on their promise, it just doesn’t work out mathematically.
Every traffic exchange uses a timer. This is the amount of time that a website is shown before you can move to the next site. The average timer is anywhere between 15 and 30 seconds per site.
Most traffic exchanges offer referral bonuses as an incentive, by giving you extra credits for referring new people to the exchange along with giving you credits for each site that your referral or down line surfs. As the number of your referrals increase, so do the hits to your site.

Download anyone of these free browsers that will enable you to log into and view multiple sites at once all within the same browser, they can handle multiple monitors and have tab status indicators, they each come equipped with pop up blocker and you're able to save and open multiple pages at once. It's your choice as to which one you use. I personally use the Crazy Browser in conjunction with the Opera Browser, you can check each one yourself by clicking on the links below.

Now it's important for you to realize that "I've done the research so you don't have to" saving you a tremendous amount of time and frustration. Not all traffic exchanges are created equal, the ones below are what I feel based on my experience to be the very best for delivering hits to your site. If you're already a member of any of them, great, just use that membership but if you have no referrals, I would suggest that you delete that account and re-sign up to them using another log in name in order for you to receive the new enrollee bonus credits.
Important; In order for you to save time without losing your focus, I would suggest that you just sign up with each site and then return to them later to review each programs particular information.
